Our Wedding

We were introduced by our dearest friends Roianna, and Drey. During a Facebook call, we talked and got to know each other. We refused to make that our only call on Facebook. During that time John was staying with some friends in Kentucky, and Emily was caring for her mom and helping her Uncle Jim. As time passed, Emily and John grew closer, sharing their lives through Facebook. John would call Emily while at work, and keep her on Video call during the day to help keep Emily calm, and Emily would help keep John calm during the day.Towards Christmas of 2023, Emily started getting sad, missing her brother, and loving father. Emily confided in John how much she missed them both, and told John of a promise she made with her brother, to take care of their parents. John quickly stepped up and offered to help take care of both Emily and her mother.Around New Year's, John made the promise to move from Kentucky to Louisiana, to be with Emily. In February of 2024, John moved to Louisiana to be with Emily. Emily and John have been going to family events, taking care of the family, and having fun, watching their love grow every day.As their first anniversary approached John, asked Emily's Mom if he could have her blessings. On January 30th, 2025, John asked Emily to marry him.

Our Story

Since 1988 and 1989, the people who have been in our family, have shaped us and made us who we are today, Some are with us, some are not. To those who are not with us, we will always miss you; We pay Honor to the fallen soliders in our family.
